I was fairly disappointed with this zoo. My husband and I took our 1, 2, and 5 year old and about the only thing they enjoyed was the wagon ride :( It was ridiculously hot, so all of the "cool" animals (tigers, bears, etc) were laying down in the shade - almost out of view. It is a VERY small zoo (took an hour at most to see everything), so don't get your hopes up of seeing giraffes, elephants, or anything else SLIGHTLY exotic. They did have some pretty cool reptiles, particularly snakes, which was the part I enjoyed. The prices were also decent, with our two youngest getting in free, $10 for adults, and $7 for our 5 year old - and you can rent wagons for $4 (I highly recommend!).

Great clean zoo they animals look well cared for and when u go check out the monkeys

Sadly the Zoo took a big hit from hurricane Ivan and has been closed down for a year. They just reopend and it's still not the same as before. They do have wild life but it's not the same.The gift shop still offers the vistors nice memories of their visit to the zoo and they have drink machines located on the grounds. If you live in Baldwin County or just moved here and looking for a local Zoo to visit you can get a Yearly Family pass. I have been once since they reopen, but I dont think we will go back any time soon.Not till they move more Animals and offer better prices.
